This is my friend Loren Shaw. Loren is an accomplished costume designer who is living out her dream in big crazy NYC. She just finished working on the new USA network show “White Collar”. She just so happened to be in town visiting family so I asked her if she would stop by and model for me.

I spent the 4th with friends in the Florida woods. We swam in clear springs, swung on rope swings, spied on wild animals, and feasted upon delicious barbecue covered in the most magical of barbecue sauces.

A couple of weeks back I loaded some film wrong and accidentally sucked it back into the canister. Instead of tossing it I took some tweezers and fished around until I pulled out a piece of it. My friend Cole Nesmith happened to be visiting me at the time so we just quickly shot the roll and hoped for the best. I think the scratch marks give the photos a little character. Cole is a great friend of mine and one of the first people I met when I moved to Orlando. He is talented in too many areas to name, but you can visit him here.

Officially launching our online periodical today.

GRAIN & GRAM : THE NEW GENTLEMAN’S JOURNAL

Danny Jones, Aaron Martin and myself have spent a good amount of our free time to create something interesting and visually stimulating. This has been a fun project so far and we hope to update as much as possible! We are actually launching with two gentleman articles so if you have yet to see the Greg Perkins post check it out as well.

Ever since I’ve been spending more time with my good pals Wes and Colie I’ve been more into the look of analogue. So I’ve dusted off my old Canon Elan and I’ve been taking a little extra time to make every shot count. This is my friend Whitney who was nice enough to let my talented amigo Andy J Scott(big shot LA photographer) and I do a quick photo session with her at her lovely home.

Wes and I were shooting a wedding a couple of weekends ago in Long Island. We had a day to mess around. We attempted to drive to the Hamptons, ended up turning around and taking the train into the city for a few hours. I shot some 35mm bw for kicks.

MOUSTACHE MAY 2010

This year the torch has been passed from the infamous Danny Jones aka YASLY to metal shredder Matt Heafy AKA kiichi. This wasn’t exactly planned as I intended to sponsor both parties yet YASLY just got slammed with work and Matt just so happens to live down the hall from my studio. The month isn’t over yet so keep watch for more zany photos.
