Really cool Photography/Art event happening this weekend starting on Thursday. The coolest thing about it is the fact that its here in Orlando, I jumped on board very late in the game but managed to get a print on the wall. Hopefully this can be an annual event… I’m sure if its successful it will be, but that’s up to you. 
This really cool source book that I’m participating in is starting up. I received it yesterday and was really impressed with the overall quality and design of it. Some mind blowing talent inside.

I finally stopped youtubing Michael Jackson videos and hung out with some friends July 4th. Still an MJ song made it into this video… even though it might not fit all that well.
Thanks everyone who is visiting from Scott Kelby’s blog. I have been responding to emails as quick as I can. I also appreciate all of the kind words given. The blog is up here for those who do not know what I’m talking about.
In the last entry I said I’d post an image of my new studio space. Well I created a self portrait for the Kelby Blog in the studio(below) so you can pretty much get an idea of it. Not huge, not tiny… just right for my studio needs. I have not taken a self portrait in quite some time and I always forget how silly it feels setting the timer and running out to the mark just in time for the shutter to sound.
fun facts… camera I’m holding is totally a prop. never use it. Octabox/brollybox was set off just or effect… I didn’t really need to light the wall.

Working on lots of stuff at the moment…. also in a new(awesome) studio. I will post images of it soon.

My partner Wes finished up the JP+W site that you can check out here. It is very simple and to the point, which is the same way we operate. Thank you very much Wes for putting that together. I’m currently packing for out Peru trip… trying to fit all the gear I’ll need into a medium sized camera backpack. Luckily 90% of the shots will be photo journalistic(camera+lens+look at that). Be ready for boat loads of new material when I return later this Month. Here are a few shots from this past weekend.
Check out the Maven Facts of life. There are a couple awkward takes of me and an even more awkward take of my friend Michael Sevilla. This was originally a test video session that the Maven editing wizards turned into something glorious. On the site you can also share your own facts of life or share with friends.
Shooting on the gulf coast this weekend and my pals Wes and Kaylin spotted one of my photos on a billboard! This shot was from a gig with Salon West last year. Wes was also with me on that job so he was able to recognize it.
